Facebook 101 – Wanneroo

Facebook is an old-timer in the Social Media world. At the ripe old age of 11, this platform has been around the block and continues to evolve in an effort to keep up with the times. When it comes to business promotion on Facebook, there have been a lot of changes in recent times with many reporting it has become harder than ever to get in front of our target audience.
Despite what people are saying about the Facebook craze being over, it is the only social network in 2015 to consistently report a substantial increase in active users. Now boasting 1.44 billion users, it’s user size makes it’s the largest country in the world in terms of population with China coming in a close second.
In this hands on group training session you will learn the steps required of how to use Facebook for maximum business promotional effect. We’ll go over the basics first; then we’ll look at the more advanced features plus the third party applications that will you help you to manage it more effectively. Finally we’ll look at how to use Facebook ads to extend your reach and convert followers into paying customers.
PRESENTER – Frances Blackie
Frances is an accomplished sales and marketing professional who specialises in assisting SME’s manage their customer relationships. Having run a successful CRM strategy and implementation consultancy for a number of years, Frances has formed an exciting new company committed to propelling economic activity at a local level. Distrct32 was created to solve problems in the marketplace whilst promoting and supporting local enterprises.
Over the past 24 months, Frances has played a key role in developing and delivering the Digital Enterprise Program to hundreds of SME’s across the Perth metro. She loves educating the small business community on a variety of key topics including; customer relationship management, cloud-based productivity applications, social media and online marketing. Frances has mentored many small business owners to help them propel their business development activities to new levels of success whilst organising and automating key areas of their business administration and communication.
We have capped the number of attendees to ensure a small group.
